We had the BEST experience with ‘Countryside Chow Puppies’ and would recommend them to anyone. We tragically lost our dog in December and knew we couldn’t go long without another. I reached out to Dani and was back and forth on whether we should get the last puppy available that was ready in January or wait a couple more months. He was so understanding with letting us work through emotions and decide when was the best time. We settled on January pickup. Since the beginning communication was quick, any questions I had (I had so many lol) were answered with no questions asked. When pickup day came along I was amazed by how clean and well setup the facility was. They have so much land too for all the mom and dad pups to roam around and play. Dani went through all the paperwork with us and explained everything. She’s even been great after pickup to answer my questions that have come up. I don’t think I could have chosen a better breeder. Our pups temperament is perfect, I plan to train him to be a therapy dog which Dani told me which parents would be perfect for that. He potty trained so easily, is just so cuddly and is just a joy to have in our lives. You can tell by looking at him how he was bred perfectly and I can’t wait to see what a handsome man he grows into! I really can’t thank Dani and Countryside enough and can’t wait to get another from them next year. Thank you again, Dani!

I did a lot of research on chow chow breeders and decided on Countryside for a few reasons: all dogs are thoroughly health tested, Dani has an animal science degree and knows her stuff, and I loved the dogs’ variety of colorings. I joined the waitlist for a puppy in March 2024, picked Beckham up in October and the wait could not have been more worth it. Beckham came home a smart, healthy, well-behaved puppy who adjusted to life in his new home in no time. As a first time puppy owner I was unsure how the whole process worked. Dani was very open in discussing the breed and the price was fair. I put down my deposit in July 2025 and in October I was able to take my red Chow Chow, Kaine, home after his 12th week. Delivery was easy as I am located in New Jersey. I was delighted to receive all the proper AKC and microchip paperwork along with a small bag of kibble.
My pup was practically house trained. Accidents have been few and far in between. Overall I have been extremely pleased with my experience owning a Countryside Chow Chow. My Smokey is one of the sweetest, smartest, well behaved dogs I could have ever dreamed of. Its apparent that Dani puts her heart into raising these babies. Plus being potty trained was a huge bonus! Dani was always happy to answer questions, and never made me feel like I was bothering him. We are thrilled to share an update on our precious Lara (named by my grandson, Dylan) from Countryside Chow Puppies. Lara has settled in beautifully and is thriving on all the love and attention she receives! Our little fur baby has had only one accident so far and now heads straight to the back door when nature calls. And the best part? She sleeps peacefully through the entire night without a single issue.
Although Lara is still a bit hesitant about going down the stairs, we’re taking things slow and steady to help her build confidence—after all, it has only been a few weeks in her new home. She has already chosen her favorite toy and formed a special bond with Dylan. We also found a wonderful veterinarian nearby and have already scheduled her first appointment.
